thanks to the many (14) folks who responded to my inquiry regarding
sources in the USA for obtaining Glutano products, especially pretzels,
which appear to be made in Germany, then exported to the UK before being
re-exported here.

The two US mail-order sources that carry Glutano products mentioned were:
Miss Robens http://www.missroben.com/
Gluten-Free Pantry http://www.glutenfree.com/

the prices for a 75 gram (about 2.75 oz.) bag are very similar , about
$2.50. These sources also carry Glutano's other snack items--biscuits,
wafers, cookies, at similar prices. My 4-year-old daughter with CD loves
them, and I liked the Glutano items I tasted from the GF Pantry''s "snack
sampler."

I was also directed to Dietary Specialties, in Rochester NY. They sell a
similar-size bag of pretzels for $1.60, or $28 per case (I believe 20
bags). I have not tasted them, but a couple of respondents liked them.
They can be reached at http://www.dietspec.com/. Unlike the websites of
other mail-order GF food purveyors, prices are not listed.

Several US respondents order Glutano items from Laval (near Montreal)
based De-Ro-Ma, which carries a very large line of GF items from various
european manufacturers, as well as its own large line of baked GF goods.
they offer the Glutano pretzels at C$ 2.95/bag (roughly US $2/bag), but
shipping to the USA is at least C$ 15 per oeder, which must be at least
C$ 50. they can be reached at http://www.cosmo2000.ca/deroma/

I have no connection with any of the companies mentioned above.
Respondents reported uniformly positive experiences with all. moreover,
two of the responses were from people at Miss Robens and De-Ro-Ma. The
De-Ro-Ma response included an attachment with their on-line catalogue in
MSWORD format, which I found both thoughtful and extremely helpful,
especially as I found their website both difficult to read on my screen,
and impossible to print legibly.

finally, one respondent asked "are the Glutano pretzels really any good? "
A chacun son gout, but I found their texture pleasing, their taste on the
bland side.

Again, thanks for all your help.
