Other advice:
Tips on how to optimize your iron absorption. For instance, if you avoid coffee and tea for an hour before and two hours after a meal, you will reduce their negative impact on iron absorption. Also, if you avoid whole (GF) grains and beans, you will reduce the phytate content of your meals and, again, increase your iron absorption.
