My mother needs to have her thyroid removed because of cancer.  She has DH
and is a little concerned about the Betadine because it has iodine in it.
That seems to be a one time thing so she is not as worried as she is about
Synthroid having iodine.  Synthroid is something she will have to take for
the rest of her life.

Does anyone have any advise?
