Hi everyone,
In my ongoing quest to find a GOOD gluten free bread, I ordered a bag
of the Montina flour. I made a loaf of bread with the recipe from their web
site. WOW, I think I've finally found the bread I'm looking for, it has the
texture and look of a wheat flour bread and the taste is wonderful. The only
problem I encountered was the recipe called for either one large loaf pan or
two small, I went with the large and it was a mistake, sunk a little and
overflowed just slightly, so the next time I will make two smaller loaves.
Otherwise, it is just great!! Will be trying some of their other recipes
soon. Since I don't eat a lot of bread, the slightly higher cost of this
flour is worth it to me to be able to have a bread that is good. I have no
financial interest in this company, just reporting my findings. Their web
site is www.montina.com JS in IL
