I have to thicken my husbands liquids because of swallowing difficulty. I am using ThickIt brand, and after several days of mixing the powder into his drinks, I am having a gluten reaction. (I'm very sensitive and have reacted to wheat flour in the air previously). The ingredients list "modified food starch". I could wear a mask while preparing his liquids, but I'm wondering whether anyone knows of a gf thickener I could buy or make.
