Thanks to all who responded to my question about why Outback makes a GF
brownie.

The consensus is that flourless cakes/tortes/brownies are richer, so the
most likely reason is one of taste.  But there was also this interesting bit
of information, from [log in to unmask]:

"The owner of Outback has a granddaughter that is celiac and he has made it
a mission to make life a little easier for other celiacs.  Still some good
people left out there."

*Please provide references to back up claims of a product being GF or not GF*
