MEETING AGENDA
Speaker: 
Michelle Melin-Rogovin, Program Director of The University of Chicago Celiac
Disease Program will be our guest speaker. Her presentation is titled Celiac
Disease: Myths and Facts. She will share information about the program and
working with Stefano Guandalini, M.D., the Director and also Chief Pediatric
Gastroenterologist of the University of Chicago Childrenıs Hospital. The
mission of the University of Chicago Celiac Disease Program is to raise
diagnosis rates for celiac disease through medical education, advocacy,
research, patient services and public awareness. The program serves children
and adults throughout the midwestern United States, providing information
and referrals, as well as non-medical services. Michelle attended the
International Celiac Conference in Paris, France this past summer, and will
share the latest information on Celiac Research. Check out her cover article
in the recent Fall 2002 CSA/USA Lifeline newsletter. Michelle is also a
contributor to Living Without magazine and the Scott-Free Guide to
Gluten-Free Living published by Celiac.com.
