        Last night was the very first meeting of our newly formed CDF
connections goup, Celiac Support of Phoenix. I'm pleased to say, it was a
tremendous succcess!  We had Celiacs friends from as far as Apache Juntion
and Gilbert join us.  We were even honored to have Elaine Monarch from the
Celiac Disease Foundation there to help "Launch our ship"!  (A neat & very
well-informed lady!)   Ages varied, with the youngest Celiacs in attendance
being 4 and 8 years of age.

        Well, we're now off and running!  If you live in the Phoenix area,
be sure to join us at our April meeting on April 5th.  The meetings will
always be the first Wednesday of the month at Wild Oats market located at
the NE corner of Tatum & Thunderbird. (7PM - 8:30)

        At the April meeting, bring along your favorite home baked dessert
and copies of the recipe for our buffet dessert table. Let's share all
those treasures we've learned to bake. OR, share your favorite store bought
treat and tell us where you found it.
