I've just read some month-old messages re low cholosterol and cd.
I'm concerned that the cholosterol buster medication I'm taking may be
doing more harm than good. My cholosterol is now 169, ratio is 2.8.
For a female/male, it is a very, very low risk factor. Needless to say,
my doctor is very, very pleased and wants me to continue with the
medication...

I am very interested in getting off this medication and use diet and
exercise, as well as blood monitoring to check the cholosterol levels.

My concern here is this: is there any such thing as having a too low
cholosterol level/risk factor? Any scientific publication on the
relationship of cd to cholosterol which I could show my doctor? Also
is there any valid scientific study on benefits of diet, food
supplementation, and exercise on cholosterol?

Thanks!
