I notice that the author of the article Medscape ran
(see Vance's ref: Use of Serum Antibodies to Diagnose
Celiac Disease) does not document his statement:

  "Celiac disease occurs primarily in whites of
   Northern European ancestry."

Does anyone know of documentation for this widely
accepted proposition?
