I am about to have my first baby in just a few weeks
and I'm planning to breastfeed. I've read about the
benefits overall and especially in helping to prevent
Celiac Sprue disease in passing on to him. But I have
a few questions for moms and even dads.

1. Pediatricians recommend breastfeeding for a year,
which I plan to do atleast that long, but I will be
working. I am going to try pumping, but if for some
reason it doesn't work, is there a formula that is
recommended if I need to supplement while I'm away
from home?

2. When do you introduce wheat into their diet, I mean
you have to at some point, but is there a certain age
and a certain type of food you should do first?

3. Can he be tested for Celiac disease even if he's
not eating wheat? I was diagnosed through an endoscopy
while I was sick, but i know the disease can be hard
to diagnose, and I don't know if there's a test
doctors can do to find out, so if he ends up having
it, I don't have to subject him to the wheat if he
can't have it.

Sorry, this is so much, but i've only been diagnosed
for two years, and I don't have any kids, so I'm new
to motherhood and the gluten free diet.

Thanks in advance for your help.
