Markus, So that I can really feel safe in drinking beer again after some
25 years, I wonder if you could get some further information from the
distributor in Hagen.  I decoded the gif portion of your posting, a
report from Dr. Herbert O. Gunther, a food chemist, which referred to the
sample as Sierra Madre mexican beer.  Is Negra Modelo renamed before sale
in Germany, or is this report on a different beer.  I have a vague
feeling that Sierra Madre in this country is a different beer, but given
my  long abstinence, I could easily be wrong.  Also, there is a note
stating that the test was also investigated with Elisa.  Since the
commercial Elisa-based kit that one can buy here does not respond to the
prolamines of all 4 of the toxic grains (I think that oats are not
recognize), I wonder if you could find out whether it was negative for
all four grains when used to confirm the electrophoretic results?  To
