Dear List:
I received quite a few replies to my posting re 2 major Anglican churches in NYC now featuring GF communion hosts. There were 3 principal "gists:"

1. How to get clergy in other areas to be aware of the problem and of possible solutions.

I suggested making copies of these postings and showing them to local clergy. That is how I got mine to be aware that practical solutions to the problem were at hand. All we like sheep are truly led, but not always astray.

2. Where does one obtain them?
Look up Communion Wafers under www.ener-g.com, Item No. 7058, approx. 50 in package. I gleaned this information from a previous posting to the list.

3. Expressions of awkwardness in receiving communion under the circumstance of CD. This is a serious problem among observant Christians, especially as the sacrament is such a powerful witness to community. It seems an almost unbearable contradiction to require special treatment, and many of us are reluctant to ask for it.

I advocate patience, perseverance, and use of the empowerment that this List offers. Wherever you are, and whatever your circumstance you have company, and can use printouts to prove it.
