Most respondents have suggested:

* Have the biopsy read by a qualified pathologist specializing in celiac
* Get a second opinion on the biopsy/send it to more than one lab
* Take samples from several areas: one person mentioned 12-15 and another 56
* Make sure the child is eating gluten before testing
* Have the biopsy taken from the upper part of the intestine
* Make sure the biopsy is stained for intraepithelial lymphocytes
