Try JUdson Grill on W 52nd St. Bit pricey and might want to dress more than
casual. But very knowledgeable about CD and Menu.

Metisse on 105th, just east of Broadway, a charming French bistro that can
tell you everything in sauces and do things with/without
Another ok one is Lemongrass at 2534 B'way,a Thai chain.
