In response to the subject of breadmachines, I just purchased the new
machine put out by Red Star Yeast. This machine was made with
gluten-free flours in mind. The machine sells for under $100.00 and
supposedly will be carried by Walmart Stores, Venture and Hills. I
purchased one through the Home Shopping Network (because it was
available here before the above mentioned stores) and have been very
happy with the results.

If you have questions regarding this machine (or maybe how it compares
with others on the market in general) you can call Red Star Yeast's
hotline at 1-800-4-CELIAC.

Just a final note, the machine has a BAKE ONLY cycle which, when used
with the DOUGH cycle, only requires one kneading and rising period. You
only need to press BAKE then. When I have used it, I let it run through
the entire cycle for regular bread and mine turned out okay with the
two kneadings and risings.
