I would like some information regarding refractory sprue. I have checked
Sam Adams website and followed various links but was unable to find any
real information. (I am not terrifically computer literate yet.) I would
greatly appreciate more information, specifically answers to the following
questions:

1) What (other than not following the GF diet) can cause refractory sprue?

2) What, if anything, is the treatment for refractory sprue and is it a
cure or does it simply alleviate symptoms?

3) Is there a typical prognosis for refractory sprue?

4) What would be the recommended method of diagnosing refractory sprue
(i.e. to rule out another ailment such as irritable bowel syndrome)?

Please e-mail me privately and I will summarize for the list. Thank you.
