T-GIG and the Triangle YMCA's Camp Kanata host Gluten Free Camp 2005

We are excited to announce that GIG, in partnership with Camp Kanata, a
YMCA Camp near Raleigh, North Carolina, will be sponsoring a week of gluten
free camp again this summer. Gluten Free camp will be from June 12 - 18,
2005. This week is Super Hero week at Camp Kanata. All kids on a GF diet
will be part of the full camp program, but will be served gluten free food
prepared under the supervision of a registered dietician. Last year's camp
was a great success for the kids (and volunteers!), and we look for even
more this year.

To register, please see the GIG website (www.gluten.net) and look under
"Events" for the Kids? Camp description. You may find out more about Camp
Kanata on its web page (www.ymcatriangle.org, under Camp Kanata). We ask
that you direct your application through GIG so that we are able to obtain
some additional background.

If you have any questions or wish further information, please contact Rose
Kenyon at [log in to unmask]

Volunteers Needed! In order to make this camp happen, we rely on
volunteers to staff the kitchen. Please let me know if you are able to
devote time during camp week to help. We will appreciate several hours of
time to several days of time. Last year, GIG provided volunteers from out
of state. They all stayed at Rose's house in Raleigh and had a great time.
Please contact Rose if you are interested. We are trying to make this camp
project our support group's signature project, but we need help from more
volunteers to ensure that this camp can be conducted on a regular basis.
