Hi all! I spent an evening last week in my favorite destination... my
local emergency room. I thought I was having celiac related problems as I
was experiencing severe cramping located mainly in my lower left abdomen.
Further testing showed that I had an ovarian cyst on my right ovary. I
later found out, after even MORE testing, that it is actually two blood
filled cysts that are on my ovary and they may be (according to the
radiologist) leaking...

The question I pose to you all is this. Is it possible for these cysts to
be causing problems such as severe consipation and, if so, is it possible
for that pain to be generalized around the left area of my abdomen as
opposed to the right where the cysts are. My obgyn seems to be of the
mindset that because the cysts are on the right side, the pain on my left
is unrelated and therefor not seemingly a concern. However, I strongly
feel that they are tied together and that the cysts are the root of my
problems.

I really appreciate any thoughts you could toss my way - I have another
appt with my obgyn on tuesday and am really trying to get a feel for the
topic before I go. I missed my period this month for the first time ever
(and am definately not pregnant as that was the first test run in the e.r.)
and am beginning to think that it might be best to just have the cysts
taken out before anything further happens with them...

Thank you all in advance for your time in answering me. Have a wonderful
evening.

Jennifer
