Well I have already received many requests for a summary so here
goes!

Many people reported similar situations- inability to gain weight
coupled with constipation (or at least not diarrhea). I am still not
totally clear on where its all going- but it seems the nutrients and
calories are just not being absorbed by the small intestine and being
passed through- albeit slowly! Large floating stool is a sign that the
body is not absorbing fat- check consisitency of stool. (Mine aren't
fatty or floating)

A good multi-vitamin and minerals were suggested by several people, as
well as digestive enzymes, L-glutamine, and acidophilus.

One person explained that if the body has been in a compromised state
the metabolism often rises so its harder to get enough calories.

Another mentioned that damage to the upper part of the small intestine
is associated with malabsorption while damage to the lower section is
linked to diarrhea. It is possible that some of us have healed in some
places and not others.

I recieved a few specific weight gaining suggestions (Boost beverages,
eggs, high protein/low carbs)

I was told by several people that if I was actively losing weight (I'm
not) to consider other possible problems and to check for diabetes,
thyroid probs. and other illnesses.

Hope this is helpful- let me know if there are questions and again,
THANKS!!!

Becca
