Thank for all the replies....

My 5 year old was diagnosed with colitis; celiac tests came back
negative. However, she was put on a gluten free diet. In summary of my
questions:

The majority of people recommended searching Dr. Fine's web site
(www.finerhealth.com). Several felt that Pepto treatment would be
beneficial for her

Other recommendations werechekcing out sites for Baylor Medical in
Dallas and Dr. Fassano in Maryland

In terms of the diet: several people reported seeing results in a short
length of time (within days); others reposrt within a few weeks they saw
some change. Still others reported no change at all in the colitis
symptoms after going gf.

Others suggested removing protein and dairy from her diet; check for
other parasites

Others recommended trying Nystatin or other types of drugs.

Books that were recommended included: Elaine Gottshall's Breaking the
Vicious Cycle and Food and the Gut Reaction

Again, my thanks!!!
