I have been waiting to hear from companies I emailed about
their GF ice creams; I heard from 50% of them. I emailed :
Dreyers, Edu's, Haagen-Dazs, Lucerne, Publix, Kroger, and
Schwan's. Only Dreyers, Haagen-Dazs, Publix, and Schwan's
responded. Dreyers sent me a very easy-to-read listing of all
their GF ice creams--all the obvious with the exception of cookie-
dough and brownies added. Publix has most of its' ice creams GF--
exceptions. Schwan's has chocolate and vanilla that are GF. Haagen-
Dazs has a listing that they sent me via email, also. Most of these
companies will list in the ingredients of something contains wheat
flour or barley. Someone sent me another email from Breyers
that stated that if some ingredient contained gluten, it would would
be shown in the ingredient listing.--That's not what "my" email
stated, but I guess it depends on who sends it!!! I will also send
you the name of a book that listed GF ice creams, but I have to
look it up--sorry, I forgot that. Diane
