I've been a member of the list for 3 years, but this is my first post! I am
a celiac with a 15 year old son who was diagnosed with celiac almost two
years ago. It is a piece of cake (gf) for me to deal with the celiac diet
compared to what he faces as a very active/social/normal teenager, whose
friends eat pizza at every gathering. I'd like to find ways to give him some
support, and would really appreciate and ideas/responses you list mates might
be able to offer.

CSA conference in September: For those of you who have gone, are there
activities for teenagers, or just for little kids and adults? Do other
teenagers go? I'd like to take him, but not if there will be nothing going
on specifically for him.

Other celiac teens: Do you have celiac teens in your family that might be
interested in corresponding with mine, like through email, or even the post
office?

GIG camp: I hear the one for this summer is full, but was thinking about
2001 -- have any of your teens gone? If so, is it worthwhile? Should we
pursue it? He will be 16 next summer

Thanks in advance for your ideas and thoughts. You're a great group.
