Hello,

I run the support group in the Canton area but I recieved a phone call the other night from a woman who was just diagnosed with Celiac and she's from Akron, Ohio. I was wondering if there is a support group in that area. She doesn't drive and has to depend on her daughter for transportation.

She was given our support group's phone number and I did tell her about the groups in the Cleveland area and the one in Alliance area but she would like one closer to Akron. If anyone knows of a group, could you please let me know so I can get back to her.

I did tell her to check with the Mustard Seed and Wild Oats to see if they knew of any groups. Her daughter also checked on the internet but nothing came up except the above.
