Dear List:  Feel free to ask Steve questions.  He's an organic farming
certification specialist.  Along with allergies, he is currently researching
several issues relating to celiac disease and possible gluten introduction
into bioengineered foods.

I would be happy to field any questions you have on genetically modified
foods, food safety, organic production and any relationship to celiac disease
or gluten/gliadin intolerance.

Much of what I do is based on research for a wider audience than merely the
organic farmer or consumer, for example, the parallel concerns raised by
folks who are susceptible to allergic reactions from monosodium
glutamate...MSG...and the fact that for some reason, MSG is now used as a
crop spray to make potatoes yield more and I kid you not..

Happened last year.
