Though it may seem odd for a celiac child, mine suddenly developed problems
with constipation, including episodes of screaming from the pain of passing,
reluctantly, voluminous stools. He's now back to familiar stools and
frequency because his  pediatrician prescribed mineral oil.
 
My question: Is mineral oil gluten free? What is it made of? It looks like
he'll be on the stuff for a couple of months, until he's no longer afraid to
go or otherwise motivated to hold it.
