Hi Friends,
I Just recieved my new issue of Vegetarian Times Magazine for May.
It has a very good article on allergies (pages 40-47) which includes
information on gluten intollerance.
I was very pleased to see that they had done their homework this
time! Not only was the information correct and complete, but they even
included a few recipes which look very good.

Recipes offered were: "New Fashioned Pot Pie" (the crust for this looked
like a good one), "Kale Soup with Black Eyed Peas" (the name does not do it
justice), and "Cranana-Nut Bread" (this one looked like a good twist on the
tired old banana nut breads we've been eating).

*>*> I am sorry to tell you this, but I will not be able to send you the
article. I am just too swamped with working on my teaching credentials.

However, the magazine is only $2.99 on the newstand, and IMHO is
well worth the price. After all, most of us do not eat enough of our
vegies anyway, so this could be a tasty way to start getting more of them
into your diet. :)))) Also, I have never had much trouble converting the
majority of their recipes for our diet, and to quote my meat eating
husband: "They know how to make vegetables taste good!"

magazine, I am just a very satified reader)
