Hi all! Here is a message I received from Lipton regarding the glue in
their tea bags. It's good news!!

Hi Joanna,

Thanks for writing!

Our packaging people say there are none of the grains or modified food
starches that may indicate the presence of gluten in our teabag paper.
The paper is made from wood pulp and hemp.

Our Beverage Research people say there are none of the grains or
modified food starches made from them or caramel coloring in our
flavored teas.

We do hope this information is helpful.

Your friends at Lipton

Subject: tea bag glue

Hello,

We just wanted to be sure that the glue used in the Lipton tea bags is
gluten free. Many tea bags are NOT gluten free, so we would sure love
to know that yours are. Thanks so much!
