Hi!
So far I have about 45 responses to my survey questions. I thought of a
couple of other questions that might help us too.

What country are you in?
Are you male or female?

I've figured out most of these from names and email addresses, etc.

If you haven't sent in your info yet, please do. I think the responses are
extremely interesting and the results might be something you could show your
doctor, too.

Several of you asked about me. My husband and son have DH (dermatitis
herpetiformis). They have been diagnosed for 9 and 7 years respectively. My
husband had the skin biopsy, but Matt was too young (our dermatologist is
kind-hearted). Matt was a mess before he went on the GF diet. They have
both responded extremely well to it. Carl still has to take Sulfapyradine
(sp?) now and then.

I was diagnosed with IBS two years ago, and I got by OK on dicyclamine and
FiberCon. I really hated being "dopey" all the time on the dicyclamine,
though, and only took it when Very necessary. When I found this list last
October, I started noticing the symptoms sounded too familiar. About six
weeks ago I went on a GF diet too. It wasn't too hard since I had been the
GF police officer in the family for 9 years already. Why don't some people
think they need to learn about their disease? Ahem....Anyway, I feel great
except when I ingest gluten by accident. As sort of a test I ate the bread
at communion last Sunday. I will NEVER do that again.

Well, I think I've talked long enough. Send in your answers, and if I can
get my first attempt at a spreadsheet to work, I'll have the answers posted
soon.
