hi Wendi, i'm sending this back to the mailing list because it relates to
a question i have as well. i have heard that people who are lactose
intolerant can sometimes develop an intolerance for chicken as well, in
fact, before i even knew i had celiac i first exhibited intolerance for
dairy and was warned this may happen. maybe that's the problem.

while i can tolerate chicken without any incident, my real trouble is
with eggs. like you said, the bloating, pain etc, just like a regular
celiac episode. does anyone have any occurances to this? it cannot be
lactose intolerance because once i went gluten free for several months i
was able to tolerate lactose once more.

i welcome all suggestions

elizabeth
