We are visiting my in-laws later this week and leaving our 5-year-old son in
their hands for a few days while my husband and I head to Trinidad. The
last time we did this, my mother-in-law ignored the food I had brought with
me or purchased at the nearby Albertsons because she could fix something "so
much better for our son." Arrgghhh! Yea, I had hot dogs, mac and cheese
and the like for her to use--not his daily fare but foods he likes and food
he will eat. Needless-to-say, he went hungry during our absence which was
probably a blessing in disguise as I'm sure my mother-in-law didn't look at
the food list book I provided either.

So, can anyone in Miami tell me of a good health food store in the vicinity
of the Miami National Golf Club area? My in-laws live between 42nd and 56th
(N&S) and 137th and 147th (E&W). Perhaps I can get some fresh bread and
other "healthier options" than the hot dogs my son would rather have!!!
I've tried packing perishables, but you know how GF bread is on a good day,
much less having tumbled around in a suitcase for the better part of the day!
