Dear Listmates,

This is a gross subject to be asking about, but I must know. I'm wondering if it's normal ("celiac" normal) to have many bowel movements in a day? I usually have a pretty good one in the a.m., but then about 5-6 times during the day, I feel the urge, and when I go, it's usually just one small stool. So, I'm wondering, does that happen to any of you? Also, I'm feeling a lump in the lower left quadrant of my intestinal area, I'm sure it's my colon. Sometimes the lump is there, and sometimes it is not. I went to my internist yesterday, and after feeling around on it, he thinks it is stool, because he could move it around, and even re-shape it! He thinks that because I don't absorb like a normal person, that this may be the cause of this. Has anyone ever had this problem? I am going to get an ultrasound to make sure there is no mass there. Please let me know, I'll summarize.
JAN
