Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has had any reliablity with the ALCAT allergy
tests for food/gluten intolerances and allergies? I found ALCAT listed
under the "dubious" section of a doctor's website. I fear I have
many 'sensitivities' to foods that are not necessarily true allergies, and
ALCAT suggests that these can be detected with their test (although
sensitivities do come and go--so I find the concept a little confusing).
Maybe someone can clarify/and or let me know about an experience with it.
I am considering ordering a test directly from the lab. I can't seem to
get an apt. with an allergist before....December (thanks to those who
recommeneded docs in the Berekely area I did make some apt's)!! But need
help now.....at that 'desperate' point.

Thanks, and will summarize if I get enough response.

Saskia
