I asked the celiac group if anyone had an overall feeling of well being after
recovering from a gluten accident. I received numerous responses saying they
did. Some described it as a "overwhelming feeling of well being". The celiac
books all say you get it and since some of us do, it's apparently right. One
person said there is a physiological reason for it and described it as
something like a narcotic effect.
