Let me know if you think I am over reacting. My son (second grade) went on a school field trip out of town. His teacher knows all about his food allergies. (I even loaned out a book to her to help explain it ) Well the kids had to pay in advance for their meal at Mc Donalds. They were all getting hamburger fries and orange drink. Well when he got his meal it had the bun on it. (They were going to sit on the bus in the parking lot to eat). He told his teacher it sitll had the bun on it, and she said "oh well." He was told to just take the bun off of it and eat it. He told her he couldn't do that. So he just ate some fries. Why couldn't they run in and change it? I just didn't think that was fair. It wasn't like he wasn't eating because he was being a picky eater. Am I expecting to much?
