Folks,

The current November issue of Diabetes Interview has a short article on
celiac disease.²Itıs No Secret...Tests to Detect ŒSilentı Celiac Disease
Advised for Children With Type 1 Diabetes².

The description of Celiac Disease is very vague but the gist of the
message is that routine screening should be performed on all children with
type 1 diabetes so it can be caught in the early stages and that celiac
disease is more common among people with type 1 diabetes than among the
general population. This article is taken from the July 2002 issue of
Diabetes Care.
