Hi all--

About a month and a half ago I posted a message asking what the endoscopy was
like, and then posted a summary. Just wanted to update everyone on my
situation.

I had my appointment with Dr. Green 2 weeks ago, and just got back the blood
test results: only the IgG test came back positive. From my reading I
understand that there is a chance that this could be a false positive for CD.
Yikes! Dr. Green comments that "it is certainly worthwhile going ahead with
the endoscopy."

So I have scheduled the biopsy for late July (the earliest I could get!). Now
my question: does anyone out there have info regarding the likelihood that
the IgG is a false positive? I tried reading some of the info online, but
some of it seems contradictory. This has no bearing on my plan to get the
biopsy done. I guess I just want to know what the odds are that I do, in
fact, have CD. Anyone have comments on this?

Thanks in advance--
Bette
