I recently booked a holiday and was offered a deal on insurance which I
accepted. When I saw my doctor recently, she asked if I had told them I
was being investigated for Celiac. I had not. She told me to call them
immediately and they informed me that I would be covered for accidents,
etc but if I had any gastric problem whatsoever, even salmonella or
appendicitis, I would not be covered because I was undergoing gastric
tests. How about that. I was told I could get insurance with extra
premiums which another specialist company but it would cost a lot more,
but it was too late to cancel the present insurance. They suggested I
pay for another policy at about 3 times the premium with another
company!!! They say honesty pays. Sheila
