Hi all,
I'll be going to Sao Paolo and the Patanal in Brazil
this summer. Fortunately, I am in the very early
stages of gluten sensitivity with no villi
damage(EnteroLabs testing), so, although I know it's
not a good idea, I am willing to be possibly glutened
by small amounts of the food around me. (this trip is
a once in a lifetime experience!) I'll be with a
group, and most meals will be arranged, so I won't
have lots of choices; however, I would like to be able
to ask for gf options. I downloaded the cards from
celiactravel.com. Other ideas there?

Does anyone have suggestions about great things to
order in restaurants, buy in health food stores (names
of stores?), or avoid? I am also lactose sensitive,
but willing to take a pill, if it means eating some
amazing Brazilian dairy food. I don't eat red meat
and pork, but fish is fine and I'll eat chicken, if
it's the protein available.

Many thanks.

Sarah Palmer
