Does anyone know of a gluten-free OTC laxative? Had tried a generic of ExLax
(Sennosides), which otherwise fit my requirements‹inexpensive. But found out
today that not only the generic, but the branded drug, are not gluten free.
Idiotically, I assumed the GI distress the following day was a result of
overall condition, not gluten in the drug. At least if I can find something,
I¹d expect the energy I lost (and had misattributed) the couple weeks will
return.

Does anyone know of a relatively gentle laxative (not a fiber supplement,
none of which are strong enough to counteract my problem) that is gluten
free? Or know of a generic of same that might be much cheaper that is also
safe?

I have a neurological condition that requires me to take heavy narcotics, so
its not something I need lightly‹it can be the difference between being able
to get up and functional with the intense side effects of the narcotics.

Thanks,
John
