We are just beginning to research the ways that Celiac may have impacted
our extended family. My daughter (who has a malabsorption problem) and
her aunt and first cousin (both of whom are also unusually thin) have
all had significant benign tumors removed from their thyroid glands. I
read in the archives that there is a connection between celiac and other
autoimmune diseases including hypo and hyper thyroid issues. Can Celiac
Disease also be linked to actual thyroid tumors?
