Thanks for all the responses.

The issue with canola appears to be the cross contamination as it's
usually grown in fallow wheat fields. Some people seem to be terribly
sensitive to it and others have no reaction. There were several
responses that those of us that are newly diagnosed may be more
sensitive and may be able to add it to our diet at a later date when
we've healed some. CSA  has recommended avoiding it due to the
contamination issue, some responses agreed with that opinion, others
strongly disagreed. There were several comments that folks believe it is
actually a food allergy to canola that causes the reaction.

Jolly Ranchers are GF. They use oil to prevent the wrappers from
sticking. Some of us with DH may be sensitive to the red dye #40 they
use however.
