I am befuddled by the people who are concerned about their pork chops or
steaks being seasoned or marinated at Outback (unless these people are
allergic to something in the spices, in which case it makes sense). In one
case I'm not sure why the meal wasn't GF but my bet was it was the veggie
seasoning. If you don't tell the waiter not to season the meat and you get
it with seasoning, IT'S BECAUSE THE SEASONING IS GF!!!!

Go back and read the menu. We are plainly told to avoid the vegetable
seasoning, but NOT the meat seasoning. Please show me where it tells us to
avoid the meat seasoning. If you have prime rib you also avoid the au jus
and if you have the lamb you avoid the cabernet sauce.

According to Outback and GIG, the meat spices are GF. It doesn't say that
in those words but if they weren't GF, why the heck would they tell us
specifically to avoid the veggie seasoning but not the meat seasoning? Do
people think Outback and GIG are trying to poison us for the fun of it? And
if you don't believe them on the meat seasoning, why would you believe them
about anything at all on the menu and why would you ever eat at Outback?

Of course, eating out is always a risk because of cross contamination no
matter where you eat.
