McConnels ice cream
Mike Vierra, the plant manager for McConnell’s Ice Cream in SB (Corner of
Mission & De La Vina Street) said all their ice creams are produced in the
same plant and are GF except cookies & cream and cookie dough. It is a
nondedicated facility, but he does those last and cleans after runs with
those flavors. You can call the SB store and have them connect you to him to
verify, but they are opening in Ventura by Pacific View mall.
Pinkberry yogurt(on State Street across from Paseo Nuevo)
Red Mango yogurt (at State & La Cumbre in the 5 Points shopping
center)-their sign states that their products are GF
Yogurt Land (lower State Street) They e-mailed with this response, “All of
our flavors are inherently gluten free. We do have a few flavors where the
flavor element contains gluten, specifically, cookies and cream, vanilla
wafer and ginger bread.
