The death of Sam Wylde, II, today leaves a void in the lives of all who knew him.  This extraordinary man who has given us his love and support and our daily GF bread and cookies, and cakes, and rolls, and so much more since 1962, could never say no. He provided all who asked with generous samples of products. Sam was not only the founder of Ener-G Foods, he was an innovator and driving force behind gluten-free baking, certification of ingredients, labeling laws,and everything that concerned the gluten-free diet.  Sam was there when no one else was. Thank you Sam. It is with profound sadness that we send our condolences to the entire Wylde family and extended family and the Ener-G Foods community.
