I am a newcomer to this list from Sydney, Australia. My daughter Anisha, who is
22 months and a Sri Lankan tested positive to Gluten intolerance when she was 7
months old. She has also had dairy intolerance which she has gradually come out
of since a GF diet for more than an year now. Her Paediatrician and other
specialists have informed me that statistically there is no evidence that Sri
Lankan's are prone to CD. I have in the meantime arranged for Anisha to have
allergy test done. She has been showing most of the symptoms highlighted in the
FAQ in relation to undiagnosed CD in children. She also has been diagnosed to
have Thalassemia.

I am seeking evidence of any Sri Lankan's, Indian's or Asian's that have been
diagnosed to have CD. If you are one of them please respond to my personal
e-mail : [log in to unmask]

Any other related information or advise is most greatly appreciated.

Thanking you in advance,
Kishani Gunawardhana
