I'm traveling with my daughter to Newport News, Va., later this week and
although I'll carry most of my food, I'm also looking for a good local
place to eat. Seafood would be great and I wouldn't mind traveling a
little, but I don't want to go to, say, Virginia Beach.

Also, can anybody recommend a decent motel that's not too expensive in the
general area of Christopher Newport University? Some place I'd feel safe
with my daughter.
