I must apologize for not sending in my summery of the use of applesauce
as a fat replacer. I had an accident at work and hurt my back. With all
the codine etc. I wasn't in any condition to respond.

I do want to thank all those that did respond to my question. The
results were about half and half. Some said replace all the fat others
said replace half the fat. I did experiment with bread and found it was
too much moisture. I haven't tried a cake yet but I think it would help
with the lack of moisture that seems to be a problem baking with rice
flour.

I did find an internet page about just this subject and did print it
out. I wanted to share it with you but lost it and can't seem to find it
on the internet again. I will keep looking and let you know where it
was. It was created as an promotion for apples grown in Washington State
and I thought it had some good suggestions. If anyone finds it before I
do please let me know.

On the subject of my back I thought that I read that people with CD
sometimes have problems with damaged muscles healing in a timely manner.
If this is so does anyone have any experience in what can help them
heal? It's been 5 months and I am tired of hurting.
