There has been a lot of posts lately regarding airline food and their gf
status. Just thought I would jump in here with my strategy for meals on
flights. I bring my own. Prior to celiac I was always consciences of
what I ate and tended to eat a fairly healthy diet - low fat etc. For
years I have always brought my own food on airline flights and never had
anyone say anything to me about it. I eat every 2 or 3 hours so I bring
food with me where ever I go. Being celiac does make it more difficult
because my choices are limited, but I never want to have to depend on
someone else for my food and get stuck not being able to eat. Once you
get in the habit of bring gf food where ever you go, life seems so much
easier. I carry PR Ironman bars with me and always have a stash of them
underneath the seat in my car - I phoned the company and was told they
are gf and have not had a reaction to them.

Good luck and hope you find a solution that works for you.
