Hi all
I have a skin condition my doctor has diagnosed as 'severe atopic eczema'.
Basically i have an itchy red rash over most of my body, which responds to
cortisone creams, but as soon as i stop using them, my skin flares up.This
suggests to me that the creams are masking an underlying problem. I also
suffer from foul smelling wind. I' m not content to use creams for the rest
of my life and am determined to find a solution even if the doctors aren't.
My naturopath ran some tests yesterday which indicate i am lactose and
gluten intolerant. So in relation to this:
1)should i request a blood test from my doctor before commencing a gf diet?
2)why would gluten intolerance hit me now in my late twenties?
3)are regular gps experienced in diagnosing cd?
3)is there life without gluten?
some comments would be much appreciated
sandy
